How to Get to Heaven

???? How Can I Get To Heaven
From Winston County ????
{or anywhere else}

That may sound like a very silly question, but it is the most important question that one can ask. We are all on a journey called life. Your life is headed to a very important appointment date. We do not know when that will be, but the Bible says in Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” This appointment involves two things; an appointment with death and an appointment with God.

The road you take in your life determines what will be said when you stand before God. Will you hear Him say “well done my good and faithful servant” or will He say “depart from me for I never knew you!” How do you get to heaven from Winston County? You start by getting on the right road. Getting on the Road is as simple as A-B-C.

A – Admit. That’s right admit. Admit that you are a sinner. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” We must also admit that Jesus is the Savior and the only way to get to heaven. Acts 4:12 says “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.“

B – Believe. The second step is to believe. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” To believe means to put your total trust and confidence into something.

C – Confess and Commit. The third step is to confess and commit. In Romans 10:9-10, the Bible says “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

See, it is as simple as A-B-C. If you would like to get on the road to heaven now, simply pray this prayer below from your heart. Only pray this prayer if you really mean it.

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner and that you died for my sins. Right now I ask you to forgive me of my sins. Come into my heart to be my Savior and my Lord. I willingly turn from my sin and give my life to you. I want to live for you for the rest of my life. Thank you for saving me.

Amen.
